Academic Information Class VI to VIII

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of secondary education, India and stringently follows the academic, assessment and examination procedures as defined by the Board.


To increase the confidence in the students for preparing for the Board Examinations, the scheme for classes VI-VIII is designed on Term Assessment Basis with gradual increase in the learning assessment as the students move forward. The assessment structure and examination for classes VI to VIII comprises of two terms i.e. Term I and Term II.

Co-Scholastic Activities

For holistic development of the student, co-curricular activities in the following areas will be graded term-wise on a 3-point scale (A = Outstanding, B = Very Good, C = Fair). The aspects of regularity, sincere participation, output and teamwork are the generic criteria for grading in the co-scholastic activities:

The students will also be assessed for the discipline which will be based on the factors like attendance, sincerity, behaviour, values, tidiness, respectfulness for rules & regulations, attitude towards society, nation & others. Grading on Discipline will be done term-wise on a 3-point grading scale (A = Outstanding, B = Very Good, C = Fair).

Promotion Policy

Promotion will be judged on the Term II performance. Students should score 33% in all the subjects.


3 periodic test will be conducted for all the students inclusivegrading subjects. Out of 30 marks (30/3) 10 marks will be considered. Best marks will be taken under term I and term II for final marks submission
